The Town of Litchfield Tax Office will be open until 11:30 a.m. on Monday, February 1, 2021 due to the Storm.
Just as a reminder in response to the Governor’s Executive Order 9R the last day to pay taxes due January 1, 2021 without interest will be April 1, 2021. The last day to pay these taxes without interest is April 1, 2021. Any tax unpaid on April 2, 2021 will be subject to 6% interest. The program is automatically extended to all taxpayers for real estate that is not escrowed, personal property, and supplemental motor vehicle tax bills.
