Test Kit Distribution Update Jan 1, 2022
After several days of coordination and delivery organization, The Town of Litchfield CT will be hold Home Covid Test Kit distribution tomorrow SUNDAY JANUARY 2nd at the Bantam Annex, 80 Doyle Rd Bantam Ct and the Northfield Volunteer Fire Company 12 Knife Shop Rd Northfield CT entering from the light off Rte254. DISTRIBUTION IS FROM 9am-1pm ONLY.

This distribution is possible because of the assistance of our Community Emergency Response Team Volunteers, Emergency Management and the Town of Litchfield, so we ask for your patience.

Some important information to share:

Because we have received approximately less than half of the anticipated test kits, we are requesting that only residents that suspect they’ve been exposed to COVID 19 show up for a test kits. The purpose of this distribution is to mitigate further community spread. We have already allocated test kits for our local First Responders.

Proof of residency WILL BE REQUIRED at the distribution sites. You must be a resident of Litchfield, Bantam, Northfield, Milton or East Litchfield.

Test kit distribution will be limited to up to 2 test kits per vehicle. If you are symptomatic and do not have transportation, please email Denise Raap, First Selectwoman of Litchfield @ 1stselectman@townofLitchfield.org.

We are still working on the procurement of additional tests. N95 Masks will be available for free through out town during this coming week. Currently, I am working on location placement for easy resident mask pick up and will provide further details once locations are confirmed.
