REGION 20 REFERENDUM ABSENTEE BALLOTS AVAILABLE IN PERSON ONLY
There will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 a Regional School District No. 20 Referendum. All eligible voters in the Town of Litchfield will vote at the Litchfield Fire House, Route 202, between the hours of 6:00 am and 8:00 pm.
For those voters who must vote by Absentee Ballot, they will be available in person only in the Town Clerk’s office, 74 West Street, Litchfield, between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:30 pm. now through Monday, May 5, 2025, during regular business hours.
Time does not allow for mail-in ballots.
The following are the questions that will be on the ballot:
FY2025-26 Board of Education Budget Question
“Shall the fiscal year 2025-2026 budget of Regional School District No. 20, comprised of the Towns of Goshen, Litchfield, Morris and Warren, in the amount of $43,127,907 be approved?” YES or NO
Question 2
“Is the District Budget in the amount $43,127,907 too HIGH or too LOW
Referendum Question
“Shall Regional School District No. 20, comprised of the Towns of Goshen, Litchfield, Morris and Warren, appropriate $3,530,000 to pay for security upgrades, improvements to facilities and operating expenses incurred as part of the establishment of Regional School District No. 20 and pursuant to the Plan Amendment approved by voters of the District on June 28, 2022 and authorize the issuance of bonds or notes of the District in an amount not to exceed $3,530,000 to finance the appropriation?” YES or NO
