JANUARY 28 DEADLINE FOR CHANGING PARTY AFFILIATION.
LITCHFIELD: The Presidential preference primary will be held on April 28, 2020. Voters who are registered Democrats may vote in April for the presidential candidate they prefer to run in the November election. There is currently no plan to have a Republican primary.
Voters who wish to change their party affiliation must do so three months before the date of the election: January 28 is the last day that current voters can change their party affiliation in time to vote in the Primary.
To register to vote, visit the Town Hall, call the Registrar’s Office at 860 567 7558 or or email bputnam@townoflitchfield.org or nsouthard@thownoflitchfield.org and ask have a registration card mailed to you, or go on line: https://voterregistration.ct.gov/OLVR/welcome.do
