NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENTS

BOARD OF FINANCE

The annual budget of the Town of Litchfield for the 2020-2021 fiscal year will posted on the Town’s website (https://www.townoflitchfield.org/) and published in the Republican American newspaper on the 28th of April.   

The Board of Finance of the Town of Litchfield will receive public comments on the proposed municipal budget by email at TownBudget2020@townoflitchfield.org or by mail addressed to Town of Litchfield,  PO Box 488,  74 West St. Litchfield, CT 06759,  ATTN: 2020 Budget.  Emails and letters must be sent from April 29th through May 13th 2020, inclusive.  Thereafter, the public comments shall be reviewed and considered by the members of the Board of Finance before acting upon on the budget.  In place of the Town annual budget meeting and according to the Governor’s Executive Orders, the Board of Finance will vote for the municipal budget on the 20th of May 2020, its meeting to be held electronically.
