RACE KICKS OFF AT THE BIG FIELD IN WHITE MEMORIAL AND THE
5K COURSE FOLLOWS THE TRAILS IN WHITE MEMORIAL.
THE RACE IS SPONSORED BY LITCHFIELD PARKS & RECREATION AND
HOSTED BY THE LITCHFIELD TRACK CLUB.

The Litchfield Cross Country Challenge is one of Connecticut's oldest cross country races, it is held at White Memorial on October 15th at with registration beginning at 8:00 am near the activity field. The race is sponsored by Litchfield Parks and Recreation and hosted by the Litchfield Track Club.
It is the same 5K course as run during the Summer Cross Country Series, and the Junior Olympics course for 5K, as well as the old Berkshire League 5K Cross Country course. The race course will be entirely within the scenic trials of White Memorial with the race beginning and ending in the big field by the museum.
Timing for the event will be handled by Sunstroke Timing. Runners will be racing for autumn-themed prizes in their age-groups.
