Did You Know:

-Every ton of steel recycled saves the natural resources that would otherwise be used to make one ton of new steel: 2,500 pounds of iron ore, 1,400 pounds of coal and 120 pounds of limestone.

-According to the Can Manufacturers Institute, recycling on aluminum beverage can save enough electricity to power a TV for three hours, or a 100-watt light bulb for four hours. Recycling forty aluminum beverage cans has the energy-saving equivalent of one gallon of gasoline.
